Eligibility:

Any member of the Xenoverse Discord is eligible to participate in the event (except event coordinators), unless otherwise determined by Camp Director [CD] or Game Moderator [GM].

How to Play:

During the event campers will need to notify the GM that they are playing via discord DM, to ensure that only Xenoverse members may participate.

Once notified, the GM will provide each camper with their first Badge and Clue.

PLEASE NOTE: The event is not just a standard scavenger hunt. There are elements of luck, play, and creativity– So if deductive reasoning and obscure riddles aren’t your thing, still feel free to play as there are a myriad of ways to win throughout the event.

In the event, Campers will follow clues to locate keys, which when provided correctly to the GM will earn them Badges. Similarly, during the event, Camp Director Xeno will conduct game activities that will also earn Campers badges.

During the event time, there will be four phases of competition. At the end of each phase of competition a leaderboard will be posted, unless otherwise stated.

During the Final Stream of the event [10/30/25], Camp Director Xeno will announce the final standing of all Campers as well as pull the winner of the final Raffle. The Campers with the most badges will win. The GM will coordinate prize delivery with each winner respectively.

Rules:

Collaboration is encouraged during the Camp Xeno event, as it’s always nice to work with your fellow campers! That said, feeding false information to throw fellow campers off is also fair game… however, please keep the event conversations to DMs or the spam discord channel, as we want to make sure we are keeping the Discord somewhat orderly and to respect the wishes of those not participating to not have to see multiple cryptic posts in every channel they open.

Community is the first goal of the event and should take precedence over anything else. So please be respectful in your communications, as any rude, harassing, bullying, or otherwise negatively impactful conduct could lead to disqualification from the event at least and banning from the server/channel at worst. We want to give back to the community and build stronger together- act accordingly.

Complaints can be addressed with the GM or CD respectively. Please do not bring disputes into other forums as this may lead to less timely results and make addressing these concerns unnecessarily difficult. If there is something concerning you, please let us know and we will do our best to address the situation as quickly as possible.

Terms:

Camper: Participants in the Camp Xeno event.

Phase: One of the 4 sections of the event. During each phase certain events, rules, twists, and clues may apply or be available. However, Campers should check in with the Camp Xeno Discord channel at least once during the beginning of each phase of the competition as elements of the competition adapt.

Badge: An honorary mark for each Camper that receives them and determines each Camper’s placement during the competition. Each unique badge will have its own art and association. Pay attention to them.

Key: a phrase, code, or password, which when provided to the GM may grant them access to a badge.

Activity: Special on stream games that will provide winners of the selected games with additional badges towards the overall competition. Campers who don’t win shouldn’t lose heart as there will be additional hints and clues during these streams that could lead to badges and/or additional entries to the event finale raffle!

Hint: A clue granted from the GM towards a camper in order to get them closer to a particular Key, Badge, or other positive aspect of the competition. During each phase of the competition, Campers will receive a set amount of free clues that may be

Twist: A sudden shift in the event that can easily subvert, shake up, or grant campers the opportunity to otherwise influence the overall event standings.

Boons & Banes: Throughout the competition there will be twists, or ways in which campers can make certain events happen. If it’s something good it’s a Boon. If it’s something bad or tricky, it’s a Bane. These are essentially better hidden clues. There will be one of each per phase. Boons and Banes can only be claimed once per round, so if another camper finds the same one, they will just meet a message that someone has already claimed it.

Snares: Traps that are triggered by submitting them as a Key attempt. These are good or bad… usually bad events that impact the triggering camper’s standing in the game. There are a set number of Snares per phase. If a Snare is not triggered in the phase it was introduced, it will rollover to the next phase. So be cautious when submitting your Key attempts.

Happy hunting! And remember,

“The Game is Afoot!”
